SCENE 3-3 : Easton Jailhouse…

35-prison-2-email_edited_edited.jpg

Frederick spent nearly two weeks contemplating his fate in Easton Jail

Frederick spent many days in jail fearing the worse. The most likely outcome was that he would be sold off to a plantation in the deep south, probably at the notorious Slave Market in New Orleans to some planation in Arizona where the life expectancy of the enslaved was notably worse.

This nightmare was possibly given strength when after about a week his comrades were released and taken back to their owners without any due punishment.

The Angel of Fate played her card once again and for some unknown reason his master decided not to sell him off but to send him back to Baltimore and to learn a trade, that of caulking.
